People like shopping and so do I, but there is one thing that bothers me, the money. But would I be so much happier if those designer dresses and shoes would cost less? I think not, because then it is like going to one of these outlet centres where you shop till you drop. It is more about using time effectively to visit all the designer stores you want instead of taking your time and look closer to some shops. And of course you don’t appreciate the value of your product, but being happy that you made a bargain. When you shop in a regular store it’s exactly the opposite.

Organic changed from a attitude of life to a trendy lifestyle. A healthy food got more and more to people’s mind and nowadays more and more people eat organic food. But this is not all which came with the new way of eating. People were also tired of bad conditions for the labour which produces clothe is Asia. So the organic trend swashed over to the fashion industry. Of course things got more expensive, but people are willing to pay more for skin friendly cotton socks or for fair traded products. In my opinion this is a good counter-development to the globalisation, where everything has to get cheaper and cheaper.

People like beautiful things, this is why you buy a new shirt or a new jacket. It is not because you need it, but because you want it. The one and only thing which bothers is that normally those fancy trendy things are made by designers who get there money from selling it in a small amount and not like discounter in a huge margin. So the price is very high. But sometimes there is also a sale when you can get cheap designer stuff. A website specialized to that is fab.com. Everyday new designer work for a human price.

As a businessmen I like watches. I know this is a little bit cliché but what should I do. I’ am one of the kind who like to look on a watch in order to know the time and not to seek my phone in any pocket. And of course a nice chronograph is also a fashionable accessory. I prefer the medium till large designs because if I use a small watch I always have to search my glasses or put my wrist near my eyes which looks awful. Of course a bigger watch is better recognized by others than a small one like a swatch for example.

Fashion creates desire. That is the reason why we keep running into the stores for every season to buy more and more clothes we can’t really wear. But how does it come and how far can you go? Let’s take American Apparel for example. Yes they do make good fashion and sell it for an acceptable price, but what I don’t like is how they advertise. The models are skinny and it seems that they don’t have bras, or they pose like in pornographic photos. This is just to get your attention. In my opinion there can also be advertising campaigns for fashion which put the clothe at first place and not the attention.

What is style? Is it just buying the same fashion that everyone does? Or is it more a quest to get what YOU want? There is a big difference, but not easy to see because trends are made for the masses and so it is hard to find a style which is individual and trendy. But there are some tricks that work. Why don’t you use cufflinks? You say they are old fashion, pfff, almost every trend since the 90s has been repeated at least one time. Or do you thing Retro does mean new? So don’t be fool and buy what you see in the commercials, find your own style and raise it.

Spring is coming and so does the new spring trend 2012. Today I want to show you special kind of “new“ cloth. Some of you are familiar with the word “jeans jacket”, probably those who were in their teenager times in the 90s. For those who are new to this here are some tips how to wear. This time you can wear you jeans jacket with a black tank top or a dress with small print flowers on it. Combined with sunglasses by ran ban make it even cooler. But remember not to wear a jeans trousers in the same colour with it, because this looks really like the 90s.

So, after we figured out that spring is coming and theoretically summer must come after, you can start to think about your swimwear. Yeas of course, everyone think that his bathing shorts are up to date, but if you look closer you will figure out that A, you have it more than one year up to now and B, the print on it looks old and the design is also old. So make an affort and go shopping. It has never been that simple, you even don’t have to leave your house. And please don’t buy one of these bathing slips.
